I am an artist based in Lochalsh. After graduating with a BA Hons in Visual Art I took up freelance animal portraits and designed for an eco card company for ten years. More recently, I prefer less restrictions on my creativity, and explore a wider range of media, subjects and styles.
I have a keen interest in gardening and nature and enjoy making crafts, especially using upcycled materials, selling them at local craft markets, along with plants.
This is my second solo exhibition, the first having been at Duchy Square Centre, Princetown in 2010. My theme this year is gannets, but I have included landscapes and portraits to represent my range of subjects, widening variety for all tastes.
